No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Paid entry and free postal entry have an equal chance of winning. Buying tickets does not improve your odds beyond the number of entries purchased.
To enter without buying a ticket, send a postcard or letter clearly stating:
Send to: BreadCraft Prize Draw, Drumlin House, Main Street, Endmoor, Kendal LA8 0EU
Limit: 1 free entry per person, per Draw. Postcards must arrive before the closing time shown on the Draw page. Postcards posted after that time, or that don’t include all the information above, will not be entered. Free entries have an equal chance of winning as paid entries.
Proof of posting is not proof of receipt. We are not responsible for postal delays or items lost in the post.
Each Draw closes at the date and time shown on the Draw page (typically the last Sunday of the month at 8pm UK time). One winner is selected at random from all valid paid and free entries by an automated process shortly after closing.
The prize is shown on the Draw page. There is one (1) winner per Draw who receives the prize as described. Prizes are non-transferable, non- exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative unless we say otherwise. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require it.
The winner will be notified by email within 14 days of the draw using the email address on their account or postal entry. The winner has 28 days from the date of notification to respond and confirm their UK postal address.
If the winner does not respond within 28 days, or is ineligible, we reserve the right to redraw a new winner from the remaining eligible entries.
The prize will be posted by Royal Mail tracked delivery within 14 days of the winner confirming their address.
We will publish the winner’s first name and county (e.g. “Sarah from Devon”) on our website and may share it on social media. This is subject to the winner’s explicit consent, which we’ll ask for at the same time we notify them. Winners who do not consent will be listed as “Anonymous Baker”.
The full name and county of the winner of any Draw can be obtained by writing to us at the address above within 3 months of the draw, enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope.
We process your personal data (name, email, postal address, date of birth, payment details) only to operate the Draw, contact winners and fulfil prizes. We rely on your contract with us to enter as the lawful basis. Data is retained for 6 years to satisfy tax/accounting requirements, then deleted. We do not sell your data. You can request access, correction or deletion by emailing hello@breadcraft.co.uk.
You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Once entered, paid tickets are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law (e.g. if the Draw is cancelled before it takes place). If we cancel a Draw, we will refund all paid entrants in full to their original payment method within 14 days.
We may disqualify any entry that we reasonably believe involves fraud, cheating, multiple identities, automated entry, or breach of these terms.
We are not liable for any loss, damage or disappointment suffered by any entrant in connection with the Draw, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
This Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Stripe, Apple, Google, Meta, or any social platform on which it may be advertised.
We may amend these terms at any time before the closing date of a Draw if we reasonably need to. The Draw and these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
This Draw is administered in accordance with the UK Code of Non- broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code), section 8: Promotional Marketing.
